INTRODUCTION

SHANKAR BROS is an Indian based Entertainment Enterprise started in 2008, creating all types and genres of entertainment contents including movies, television, web, commercials, publishing, media services, etc. with professional standards, innovative ideas and technical excellence.

Shankar Bros is mainly active in production, execution and distribution of movies. The enterprise has completed and released 4 movie projects, each with its own unique identity and first of its kind for Indian and Tamil cinema.

THE NAME, THE LOGO & THE FOUNDATION
2008

SHANKAR BROS. was founded by Mr. K. Hari Shankar as a Sole proprietor, registered on 15 October 2008 at Tamil Film Producers Council. The office is located at T Nagar, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.

The enterprise was started as a small editing studio, formerly called as “Negative Creations”, doing post-production works for short films, music albums, TV shows and some commercials too.

Then, the studio was reformed as an independent film production enterprise, and given a new name “SHANKAR BROS.”, based on the three brothers, Mr. K. Ulaganaathan Shankar, Mr. K. Hari Shankar and Mr. K. Venkat Prabu Shankar. The logo of “a bird nest with three eggs” which resembles the three brothers was designed by Harish Narayan, the duo writer & director of the founder Hari Shankar.
